About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Mahila P.G. Mahavidyalaya is established with the objective of promoting and sustaining quality in higher education. It provides a systematic approach towards academic excellence, institutional development and continuous quality enhancement.

IQAC encourages the participation of faculty members, students, administrative staff and other stakeholders in improving teaching, learning, research, evaluation and student support services. It strives to create an inclusive, learner-friendly and quality-oriented academic environment.

Objectives of IQAC

1. To develop and implement quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
2. To promote learner-centric and innovative teaching methods.
3. To encourage research, innovation and faculty development.
4. To strengthen student mentoring and support services.
5. To collect and analyse feedback from institutional stakeholders.
6. To maintain documentation of quality assurance initiatives.
7. To promote transparency, accountability and good governance.
8. To support institutional assessment, accreditation and continuous improvement, as applicable.

Functions of IQAC

1. Developing quality assurance policies and procedures.
2. Coordinating academic and administrative quality initiatives.
3. Promoting best practices in teaching and learning.
4. Organising seminars, workshops and faculty development programmes.
5. Reviewing stakeholder feedback and suggesting improvements.
6. Maintaining records of quality-related activities.
7. Encouraging collaboration with educational institutions and other stakeholders.
8. Supporting applicable quality assessment and reporting processes.

Quality Initiatives

The IQAC endeavours to strengthen educational quality through academic planning, student mentoring, faculty development, co-curricular activities, feedback analysis and systematic documentation. It encourages innovative teaching practices and supports the development of intellectual abilities, leadership qualities, social responsibility and professional competence among students.
